Euro Repair looks forward to new growth with Meridian

Euro Repair is under new ownership after being acquired by UK and Dubai based Meridian Drilling.

The new owners are keen to build on Euro Repair’s strong reputation and client base, and have stressed that they plan to keep the same location, workshops and staff to safeguard quality.

Established as a limited company in 2003, Euro Repair was set up by Alan Booth who has more than two decades experience and an excellent reputation in the industry across the globe.

Alan will remain at the helm of Euro Repair, continuing to lead his highly experienced team in their workshops and fabrication facilities in Mansfield.

Euro Repair Commercial Manager, Liam Hughes, explained: “Alan has spent almost his entire life designing, manufacturing and repairing drilling rigs of all types and sizes.

“He trained as an engineer through apprenticeship from leaving school, and set up his business here in Mansfield. He has built up a reputation for getting the job done.

“We will continue to offer our full range of services to all clients. We repair, refurbish and modify drill rigs and we can also manufacture them.”

Meridian Drilling is a UK and Dubai-based drilling company which has grown rapidly since its formation in 2010.

Managing Director Jeremy Moore said that the experience offered by Alan and his team will be a real boost to Meridian, adding that other companies can still benefit from their expertise.

He said: “The acquisition of Euro Repair gives us improved mechanical capability with workshops and fabrication facilities in Mansfield, UK as well as the  experienced mechanical team headed by Alan Booth.”
